Course Details

Master the Fundamentals:

  • Days 1-3: We’ll hone your paraglider wing control skills, both on the ground and during unpowered hops. Solid ground handling is the foundation of safe and competent paramotor flight, and we’ll revisit this skill throughout the course.

Embrace Powered Flight:

  • Day 4: Get comfortable with your paramotor! Our instructors will thoroughly familiarise you with the motor and its operation. You will master the launch posture, practice inflations using the engine, followed by launch abort procedures.

Take to the Skies:

  • Days 5-6: The moment you’ve been waiting for! Experience your first exhilarating paramotor flights. These introductory flights will be local circuits with frequent takeoffs and landings, building your confidence under expert guidance.

Refine & Explore:

  • Days 7-8: Solidify your skills through focused practice and coaching. As you progress, you’ll be introduced to short cross-country flights, expanding your flying horizons. You will also complete a number of additional exercises, aimed at ensuring you are confident in your equipment and ability in case of engine failures in flight.

Earn Your Wings:

  • Upon successful completion, you’ll achieve the BHPA Club Pilot Rating. This allows you to fly independently, a crucial stepping stone towards the Pilot Rating, your ticket to cross country flying.
